Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on apexgen.ai and app.apexgen.ai to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary

Required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off. These handle authentication (keeping you logged in via Supabase Auth), session security, and load balancing. The Service will not function correctly without these.

2.2 Functional

Remember choices you make (such as theme preference or dismissed banners) so you don't have to re-select them on every visit.

2.3 Analytics

We use PostHog to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages are visited, which features are used, and where visitors drop off — so we can improve the product. These can be disabled without affecting core functionality.

2.4 We Do Not Use

Third-party advertising cookies, cross-site retargeting pixels, or cookies that sell your data to data brokers.

3. Managing Your Preferences

When you first visit apexgen.ai, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential (analytics) cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

5. Related Policies

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data more broadly.
